Our kids, or if you prefer children, and our communities need help.

The school and community budgets are disasters. Kids Children Young Old are hurting. Professionals and Volunteers in our communities are trying to help more, but the monetary resources are less and less. Their agencies, districts, state and private budgets are straining if not busted. They are broke just like you and me, but the responsibilities these folks take on continue. They keep helping regardless of the economy because of their commitments. But they are not magicians. They cannot help by tricks or smoke and mirrors. They need resources. The Urban Scrapbookers Good Deed Doers Donation Program gives them some resources. Art and craft and design and writing and creativity comes from these small bits of resources.  It all helps. We are all in this together.

It is a very fine feeling to know  scrapbookers, card makers, stampers, everybody who donates are helping to help others with this very simple Good Deed Doers Donation Program.

Here is a 1minute scene that happened at the Urban Scrapbook store a few days ago.

I was explaining the Good Deed Doers Donations Program to a couple of ladies. I went on and on about how donating unused scrapbook stickers or parts of scrapbook embellishments, or scrapbook paper, stamps, scrapbook tools blah, blah, blah… went to good use in schools. When one of the other customers says ” that’s right the donation program is great, I’m one of the teachers that received supplies.” Well, I said no more because the ladies began a fun conversation about everything.

Way to go Good Deed Doers. We have a couple of new Good Deed Doers…

There are no tax forms or contracts or reports involved in what has become Urban Scrapbookers Good Deed Doers Donations Progam. It is a very simple way of turning your piles of unneeded scrapbook craft items, like scrapbook paper, scrapbooking stickers, scrapbooking tools, or any leftovers from card makers and paper crafters to good use in classrooms and events.

Seriously, anything that may have a little useful life in it is worth donating and becoming part of our Good Deed Doers Donations Program.  It is that simple. That’s why we say “from Piles to Smiles”.
